Who is Tonia Dabwe?
You don't often meet someone who has achieved good results both in the public and private sectors, who runs a successful NGO in Africa and who works with companies from Africa as well as Europe. What does it take to be able to do this? Knowing how to quickly get to the heart of the matter, being capable of working well with people from very different backgrounds, as well as the ability to achieve great results in various settings. Oh, and the ability to use that broad experience to find the best solutions!
Critical thinker who’s good at putting her finger on the sore spot, who enthuses & mobilises people, comes up with creative solutions and preferably manages multiple projects at the same time. Daughter of a Dutch mother and Liberian father. High school in Liberia, French language & literature at university in Ivory Coast, Business Economics and Business Administration at universities in the Netherlands.
Lives in Deventer and regularly travels abroad. Go-getter, likes to travel, with a large international network and passionate about entrepreneurship. Loves challenges & deadlines, salsa & classical ballet, hiking & museums, sailing & photography. Usually doesn't fit neatly into a box. Very allergic to injustice.
